I don't bill insurance directly. I've made that choice deliberately: it lets me offer longer, unrushed sessions and care that's guided by what you need — not by what an insurance company will authorize or how they require me to label your experience. It also means your privacy stays fully protected, with no diagnosis on file with an insurer.
That said, I want to make this work for you. Sessions are $165, and I provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan's benefits. Many clients also use HSA or FSA cards, which can make the cost more manageable. If you're not sure what your out-of-network benefits are, it's worth a quick call to your insurer — I'm happy to point you toward the right questions to ask.

Sessions are $165. I keep my practice private-pay so I can offer longer, unrushed sessions and care that's driven by your needs rather than insurance requirements — and so our work stays guided by you, not by what a third party will authorize.
I know that's a real investment, and I want to help make it work. While I don't bill insurance directly, I provide superbills you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan's benefits. I also accept HSA and FSA cards, which many clients find makes the cost more manageable. If you're weighing whether this is doable, a quick call to your insurer about your out-of-network benefits is often worth it — I'm glad to help you figure out what to ask.

Yes. Many clients use their FSA or HSA cards to pay for sessions, and it's a great way to put pre-tax dollars toward your care — which can make the $165 session fee more manageable. I'll provide superbills as well, in case you'd also like to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance.

I'll give you the tools to make it as smooth as possible. Each month, I provide a superbill — an itemized receipt with everything your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. You submit it to your insurer, and any reimbursement comes directly back to you, based on your plan's out-of-network benefits.
I'm not able to submit claims or communicate with your insurance company on your behalf, but I'm glad to help you understand the process and point you toward the right questions to ask your insurer — like whether you have out-of-network coverage, what your deductible is, and what percentage they reimburse. A quick call to the member services number on your card usually answers all three.

I am licensed to practice in eight states including: Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Due to licensing restrictions, mental health providers are only allowed to treat clients within the states they are licensed.

I do not have a physical office. Sessions are conducted over a secure, HIPPA-compliant platform. Sessions can be completed in the privacy and comfort of your own home. No stressing over traffic, parking, weather, or contagious illness.
It seems to me that the good life is not any fixed state...The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”-Carl Rogers
